A few years ago, I snagged a pair of Suzanna Dai earrings (this exact style) from a little boutique in Georgetown (Sassanova, for enquiring minds. And P.S. Check out this maxi dress from their website — I NEED that in my life.). I have worn them dozens of times since, and each time, I garner a new set of compliments. Bottom line: get thee to Suzanna Dai. My current favorites are these dramatic lavender and gold wonders ($190):
You can reliably wear these up or down — I wear mine with everything from blouses to elegant evening gowns (I have a Zimmermann dress very similar to this one and it is TDF — imagine it in that lovely lavender hue with these earrings! What a statement!) — but I’m envisioning a look centered around this “dusted lavender” frilly top (on sale for $88) with white skinnies (J. Brand, $172) and some suede sandals ($625):
Finish with a stunning Meli-Melo tote (~$800) — swoon.
Shades of purple and pink — swoooooooon again. (P.S., if you want more lilac, check out this chic pleated dress, my favorite J. Crew tank in the soft lilac, and this boucle skirt.)
