  1. It’s funny … I went on a resort-y holiday back in December and bought a bunch of summery dresses for that. I feel grateful for this as I’ve not been in a shopping mood much lately, and these dresses will still feel new come late spring, when I can bust them out again! I’m pretty sure that I will only be buying a new dress for my birthday in June, and that’s it. I’m really trying to be frugal, just given the economic uncertainties right now.

Those little pearl hoops are certainly tempting, though!

    1. So nice that you have a closet full of fresh dresses to look forward to. It is still pretty cold in these parts (as I’m guessing it is in Boston), but I’ve been wearing lots of sundresses around the house because — well, I can! 🙂 Instant mood lifter.

    1. EPIC rec. I’m a total convert and have texted like half of my friends urging them to buy a pair. MANY THANKS. xx

  2. I bought myself a Bowood pillow a few years ago and it remains one of my favourite home purchases It’s so beautifully British and classic. I purchased a new desk chair last week, and have been looking for warm weather loungewear (working from home is looking like the reality for the next few months at least…). I am also looking for at least one fun dress to wear to work once I’m back in the office. Not sure when that will be, but it keeps me hopeful!

    1. Hi Britt! Oo love a good pop of bowood. So elegant! Warm weather loungewear — are you thinking sundresses/caftans or casual pants/tees? xx

    2. Hi Jen! For loungewear, I gravitate more towards pants/tees. I live in dresses & skirts for work through the warmer months, but change into ‘soft pants’ the second I get home.

      1. Aha! Going to keep my eye out, but Innika Choo makes really chic beachy loungewear, including some cute shortalls/overalls in a linen-y material. I just snapped up a pair myself!

        xx
