Mini Holiday Attire.

By: Jen Shoop

Getting this out just under the wire as I realize we are very close to Christmas and holiday party season is in full swing — but!  There is still time to order holiday looks for your minis.  Below, my favorite finds:

Holiday Outfits for Girls…

THIS VELVET DRESS (ALSO LOVE THIS VARIATION, SEEN ON THE BEAUTIES ABOVE; COORDINATE IN YOUR OWN MAMA STYLE WITH THIS)

SMOCKED RED DRESS

TARTAN DRESS (MARKED WAY DOWN CURRENTLY – EXTRA 40% OFF!) OR THIS ONE (LOVE THE BOW)

THIS RED GINGHAM DRESS (LOVE THE PETAL COLLAR — $34!) OR THIS BIB COLLAR VARIATION

THIS BLACK WATCH PLAID DRESS (LOVE THE SMOCKING)

PLAID DRESS

What I bought for mini: this candy-cane collared white dress, this tartan dress,  and a few now-out-of-stock pieces I bought last year, including a darling scottie-print Sal E Pimenta dress and a forest green Luli & Me satin number.  We have a lot of events coming up!

I had trouble tracking down a pair of “party shoes” for the season.  I wanted them in either velvet or patent leather, and I felt like so many of the styles I’ve seen have clunky soles that I hate.  I ended up ordering these in darling navy and may order them in black if I like them.  I also considered these (the bronze is cool) and these.

Bought a couple of velvet bows from here.  I am usually a devotee of PoppyBows on Etsy, but I’m testing these, which are half the price…

And I always stock up on these cableknit tights (the best — super thick) and knee socks from Condor or Pretty Originals.

Holiday Outfits for Boys…

CHEERY RED CASHMERE (40% OFF!!!) WITH CLASSIC BROWN CORDS

THIS ROMPER

THIS LONG-SLEEVED ROMPER (COORDINATES WITH SISTER ABOVE!)

NAVY CABLEKNIT SWEATER AND PLAID PANTS

THESE OR THESE FOR SHOES — OR, IF ITTY BITTY, THESE

P.S.  Holiday jammies for minis and what you might wear for the holidays, too.  To the latter, I would add this chic blouse, these d’orsay heels, and this tiered lace dress (oh my!!!).

P.P.S.  Christmas toys for good little girls and boys.

  1. I gasped when I saw your tartan holly dress. It is perfection!
I have a tartan smocked dress for G this year that is a smidge too snug on her arms (bought last year, mega sale, anavini) as evidenced by almost needing to cut it off after our family Christmas card pics yesterday EEEEEK!
Matching sister dresses for G and baby L are a must for next year, yes?
I bought P this sweater to wear in a size up in the hopes he could wear it this year and next, but am afraid it definitely runs small, so this will be the only year of it: https://www.florenceeiseman.com/collections/boy-1/products/6983-boys-sweater-with-tartan-shoulder-patches

    1. Aw thanks!!! Yes, so many good plaid options out this year 🙂 Matching dresses for SURE! The cutest. And love that sweater, too! xoxo

  2. I know you like oversized ribbon bows, but I need to put a plug in for bows from Fig and Moss Makery (can be found on Etsy). The quality is superb and she has prints that can’t be found elsewhere. We have A LOT of bows here (at one point, I had 4 monthly bow subscriptions…), and she’s just as good, if not better, than some of the more well-known bow makers out there. Her velvet bows are amazing – I have nearly all of them. (Btw, couldn’t see who you linked to on Etsy.)

I got these shoes for the baby’s “fancier” pair – I love them so much I’ve bought them in two sizes now. The scalloped edges are too too cute. Plus, some sizes are on super-sale at Amazon.

And I love the plaid/tartan picks – I’d been having problems finding a plaid dress for the holidays I liked, so resorted to various black and gold outfits for the baby (+ either a green or red velvet bow from Fig and Moss). Wish I’d seen your selections earlier!

    1. WOW – such great colors and prints! You were right! I absolutely adore those velvet headbands. When do we think we can start foisting those on our little ones?!

      xx
