First: I wish I were the ultra-chic Charlotte Groeneveld (shown above), a strong reminder as to why my predominantly jeans-oriented wardrobe is feeling immature these days. Second: holidays are SO much fun with mini around. They require some planning, so I’m sharing my top picks here, a month out. I don’t know why, but I’m totally feeling all the pink hearts for Valentine’s Day, especially when grounded in some navy as a previous commenter said (when generally I’m not a holiday-themed dresser at all) Love all these selections!
(Ended up getting some cute dinosaur window gel clings for the baby to hand out for Valentine’s Day – though I love the idea of the pouches too.)

Oooooo! You know what’s enraging? I made the trip downtown to the Target by Penn Station (closest one to me) JUST to raid their $1 section while I was stocking mini’s advent calendar and they didn’t have one. WOMP WOMP. So jealous!
I like the idea of my new Ganni dress on Valentine’s day — it’s ruffled and has a pink/white floral print, but is grounded in navy, which makes it a little “off-brand” for the holiday in a way that I like. Your picks are wonderful, though — especially love the Birman sandals (!!), the red GOAT shift, and, of course, the CP sneaks. I’ve wanted a pair of them for ages and even found an untouched pair for FORTY DOLLARS at a consignment shop once, but alas, they were 3 sizes too small. 🙂

I have always thought it was kitschy to wear heart prints/pinks/reds/etc. on Valentines day. I feel that if someone as stylish as you is saying otherwise (and backing it up with cute picks), my thinking must be incorrect!
