Siete de Mayo

I’m a little late to the Cinco de Mayo festivities.  Woops.  I was busy attending an absolutely spectacular wedding weekend for the loveliest couple ever, and it completely slipped my mind!  I’m a little shocked that I completely dropped the ball and neglected to celebrate in some way because nothing makes this little Magpie happier than margaritas and guacamole…and a little something embroidered for the occasion!  So, we’ll just re-set and celebrate Siete de Mayo today.  I mean, I loveeee this cheery caftan ($98, Calypso) paired with a turquoise necklace($75, David Aubrey) and some ankle-strap flats (Cheap Monday, $79, Shopbop):

I’d round it out with a neutral straw clutch (Michael Kors, $198, PiperLime) and some gold bangles ($30 for 3, J. Crew):
