LIPSTICK CASE WITH MIRROR…THE DETAILS REMIND ME OF SOMETHING BY ANYA HINDMARCH!

Unrelated, but a few things that totally arrested my attention this past week: these scalloped edge nesting boxes, this $6 striped tee in the olive and white stripe, this Ulla Johnson patchwork dress, this polka dot dress ($59!), this striped cardigan (on sale for $150), these pink bike shorts, and this Lug Von Siga blouse.

P.S. Interesting to re-read some of my anticipatory thoughts about moving, written before we left Manhattan. The move is still too close in the rear-view mirror for cohesive insights, but so far, I feel mainly relieved. I’m not sure whether this is because moving is…the worst, and I’m just glad we’re done with that, or for some deeper, more existential reasons. I do think living in New York during the first wave of the pandemic was among the most challenging chapters of my life, and perhaps I’ve unfairly lumped the entirety of my experience in NY with that period and so leaving has felt like an unburdening, or a loosening of the leash on that parcel of gritty memories. We shall see…

P.P.S. A great trick for falling asleep.

P.P.P.S. I’m kind of itching to go back to the salon for an even shorter bob.

  1. Jen,

I recently started saying the rosary on my daily walks! (I’m suffering from the worst, unexplainable ear pain and would be so thankful if you think of me in your prayers). Admittedly, I feel a bit bashful about walking with my rosary, so I’m excited to add this to my cart.

    1. Oh gosh – that sounds miserable, Veronica. So sorry to hear. Hope you find relief or at least a diagnosis soon. I can’t imagine how disruptive that must be!

I’m so glad the rosary listing made its way to you at the right time!

      xx
