Put a Bow on It.

By: Jen Shoop

I’ve been spotting a lot of black bows against white blouses all over the place.  Chanel really instigated the trend with its last runway show (specifically, this look on Cara Delevigne — #eyebrows), and bloggerinas like Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam have been bringing it down to earth with crisp looks like:

I’m taking a page out of this lookbook by pairing this bow-front blouse (Acne, $385) with THE item of the season — a fringed suede skirt.  I scored mine at Zara (!!!!) for $70, but the real deal is this little guy from Tamara Mellon ($670).  My way more fashionable sister is snagging one, and I’m uber jealous x 10.  Other good options: this nude BCBG style (on sale for $173), this affordable JOA ($75), and this LaMarque (on sale for $130).

Finish with Aquazzura Wild Things ($785) and get your dance on.

+Chic snakeskin flat ($355);

+Affordable sleeveless bow-front blouse ($49);

+Fringed Joie sandals ($285);
