Mommy + Me Looks for Fall/Winter.

By: Jen Shoop

I feel as though the window of time for me to match or at least coordinate with my daughter is rapidly shrinking, and I’m going to jump on any remaining opportunities. Cleobella generously offered to gift me one of the pieces from their beautiful new fall collection and I knew immediately I wanted this Lotus dress and the matching style for mini, seen above. It will be perfect for a few upcoming fall gatherings — I have it specifically earmarked for a family dinner one of my friends is hosting (with littles invited).

A few other mommy + me moments I’m loving:

The Fashion Magpie Mommy and Me

+This Seraphina London for you and this for her.

+Ruffle socks for her and for you. I like the way these have been styled peeking out above Uggs or lug sole boots.

+This shacket for you and this for her.

+Lug sole boots for you and for her. Also love these for you and these for her.

+Striped sweatshirt with exaggerated collar for you and for her.

+Embroidered flower sweater for you and for her.

+Black lace-up boots for you and for her.

+Burgundy velvet dress for you and for her.

+Nap dress for you and for her.

+Velvet mary janes for you and for her.

Even more options not seen above below…

+This Dondolo maxi skirt for you and this bubble for her.

+This SEA for you and this one for her (also cute in the solid navy for a coordinated rather than matchy matchy moment).

+Gigi Knitwear cardigan for you and for her.

+This may trigger some of you, but upscale Tevas has been trending the last year and these ones from a small French brand for you and these for your little could be pretty epic for spring. I’d pair with a loose-fitting white dress (also love this SEA, on sale) for a major statement.

+Leopard drivers for you and leopard Mary Janes for her.

+Ruffle collar blouse for you and for her.

+Caramel colored dress for you and for her.

+Breton stripe sweater for you and for her.

+Plaid dress for you and for her.

+Plaid blouse for you and matching dress for her.

P.S. More adorable finds for little girls here and little boys here, with sizing details and tips!

P.P.S. Is people pleasing an unconscious attempt to control someone’s opinion of you? (I don’t think I agree!)

P.P.P.S. Invisible strings.

  1. I love these suggestions so much. If you have any mommy and me suggestions for mom and baby boy, please share! I don’t want to embarrass him too much, but I can’t resist a little coordination! Thank you in advance!

    1. Thank you, Sarah! I so hear you. I have twinned with my boy here and there! Let me put some thought into this and share some finds!

      xx

  2. Yay! I’m so glad! I’m loving those mary janes, too, for a few reasons — first, the velcro closure makes them easy for my daughter to put on (versus ones with buckles) and second, the velvet material means that they don’t show scuffs as easily as patent! Very pleased with this purchase. LOVE these shoes as a part of your girl’s Madeline costume, too. Precious!

  3. I so love a mommy & me look! P.S. the velvet bow mary janes from Amazon were the perfect touch for my toddler’s DIY Madeline costume this weekend, and I’ll be happy to she can wear them at the holidays as well. Thanks for the rec!
