MiniMagpie Monograms.

By: Jen Shoop

Based on your reaction to this and the fact that several of you emailed me about the monogrammed sweatshirt I featured last week, I’m guessing that a lot of you love a good monogram.  Today, I thought I’d share some of my absolute favorite monogrammed items in minimagpie’s room:

Pick No. 1: The Monogrammed Stationery from Lemon Grace

How precious are the monogrammed cards from luxury stationer Lemon Grace?!  I was delighted when the cards arrived, wrapped in beautiful gray and white striped grosgrain ribbon (you know my obsession with a good wrap), and could hardly wait to write mini’s first thank you note on it.  I have this set, but I also love these.  Mama to bes: this would be great to have on hand for your baby shower thank yous!  (And that lucite tray with my monogram on it beneath is available here!)

Pick No. 2: The Monogrammed Pillow

I’m still smitten with the darling applique boudoir pillow ($54) I had made for minimagpie’s nursery.  I love all the beautiful, well-priced linens from Charleston-based Southern Linens!  (Don’t you die over her little shoes?!  Her gliding armchair is this one.)

Pick No. 3: The Monogrammed Tissue Cover

It’s the little things, amirite?  I found I was often needing tissues for mini — whether to clean her nasal aspirator or whatever it might be — but found myself hiding her box of Kleenex every time we had guests because the rest of her nursery is just so perfectly appointed.  So, I was thrilled to find this elegant linen monogrammed tissue cover ($18) from Etsy store The Happy Crabbers.  (Her bows are, as always, the 4″ headbands from PoppyBows.  I think we own them in every color…)

Pick No. 4: The Monogrammed Jammies

I splurged on a pair of monogrammed Beaufort Bonnet Company night nights ($62)and even bought myself a matching pair.  (They are SO comfortable — made of the softest cotton!  Even if you aren’t a mama, you should treat yourself to a pair.  So cozy.  These are on sale!)  The monogram makes them extra special to me, and means that I have her wear them as often as possible before she outgrows them!

Pick No. 5: The Monogrammed Baptism Dish

My sweet sister is minimagpie’s godmother, and she has gifted mini so many incredible gifts.  My favorite was this personalized Baptism Dish ($55), engraved with her Baptism date and name.  What a beautiful keepsake — the perfect christening gift!  I am thinking about pinning it to the inside of this Pottery Barn shadow box and then mounting it on her wall.  (This is mini’s cashmere sweater.)

A few other finds:

+I just ordered mini one of these monogrammed long-sleeve polo shirts.

+I love the thickness of burp cloths like these, and BONUS POINTS when they’re monogrammed!

+I mentioned this in minimagpie’s fall wardrobe wishlist, but I LOVE this monogrammed knit hat!

+OMG.  Mini plaid gentleman’s pajamas in red and green plaid for Christmas!

+Love the elegant monograms on these hairbows.  The store also offers monogrammed hairbow holders!

  1. I’m a sucker for anything monogrammed! My husband asked me if everything for the baby had to have her initials on it… why not?? It’s just so much fun. (I admit, I even created a custom crest for the baby that’s gone on all her stationery.) That polo shirt is too sweet; it may have to be added to the list.
