Ha. Another terrible blog title. I’m on a roll.
Y’ALL, IT’S FRIDAY! Let’s celebrate by rolling out the big, bold prints. The inspiration for this post materialized when I saw the green-and-white floral skirt below (Mother of Pearl, $464). Holy.moly. Get me one of those, STAT. (And P.S. – if the print is too loud for you, check out this similar style from the same brand in a simple grayish-lavender — on sale for $126!). I love it with a simple white blouse (I covet the line Equipment, but this J. Crew variation does the job very nicely — $138) and a gorgeous statement necklace (Elizabeth Cole, on sale for $145):
…and these killer pumps (Tory Burch, $325) —
— alongside this elegant + minimalistic boxy Rachael Ruddick bag ($370 — very Celine):
These blues and whites remind me of these Staffordshire dog statues ($95 for pair) I’ve been eyeballing for awhile…it all comes full circle.
Pair with these outstanding Manolos ($595):
Finish with this fab 3.1 Phillip Lim mini Pashli ($350):
This in turn reminds me of some of the stunning prints from my favorite linen provider, D. Porthault — would KILL to outfit my bed in these fine duds, but alas, $275/sham is just not in the cards. Get the look for less with these lovelies from Biscuit Home.
For a little something to get the look in a small dose, check out this perfect sweater ($89) — part surfer, part vintage ski, part perfect.
These in turn remind me of these fab Jill Rosenwald monogrammed trays ($150) — great gift!
