Sometimes, you look in the mirror and realize that your fair isle sweater looks a little more “cutesy-middle-aged-mom” than “disheveled-preppy-Jenna-Lyons-cool.” Sometimes you then, in a cool sweat, divest yourself of said sweater and raid your closet for anything black and your highest pair of ankle-breaking tootsies.
