  1. Oooh that collage above is really speaking to me right now.

That Hanbok-inspired jacket — WOW, what a showstopper! I’m so drawn to sculptural shapes like this.

I’ve been wanting to try Alex Mill — thank you too to MK for the feedback!

I have my eye on a few items from Quince for this fall — have you tried this brand? I have a couple of linen pieces from them and I’ve been happy with the quality and value. I am thinking of their ponte ankle pants and washable (!!!) silk slip skirt to pair with a chunky sweater.

I don’t really *need* any of these, but I recently saw these suede mary jane flats from Freda Salvador… except their smallest size in this shoe is 6, bummer!

I never thought I was a lug sole kind of gal but this pair caught me eye. Something about the polish of the embossed/textured leather with the ruggedness of the lug sole… so interesting!

Aaaah fall textures!! I always look forward to that first moment when you feel that slight chill in the air.

    1. Thanks for all these intros/thoughts! I hadn’t heard of Quince before. I’m with you on these two shoes — I feel like they are majorly trending (wintry textured Mary Janes and lug soles) but I just don’t feel like they are “me.” I feel like I’ll keep looking at them enviously on other women but just won’t be able to do it myself, sort of like Birks, which I seriously admire on others but just make me look stumpy.

      xx

  2. Love this! Sadly will not be able to wear any of it until about… November here in TX, haha. One can dream..

  3. I am HERE for this! Bring on the fall weather.

If anyone is considering that Alex Mill cardigan, I will happily upvote it — I have it in navy & khaki and wear it all. the. time. in the three non-summer seasons of the year! It’s a super lovely piece. I also have one of the Alex Mill button-back sweaters in the same style knit, and it works as a cardigan, too!

    xx
