Not high-end designer, but I also just snapped up a few basics to get me through the rest of this prolonged winter, all great deals, too — another one of these silk-blend mocknecks (in black), this striped button down, and one of these Nanushka ribbed turtlenecks, too. I love the way a slim-fit turtleneck or mockneck looks tucked into my go-to jeans, which I just purchased in the new canvas color (I got $20 off my order with code HONEY20 — you might try!)

Happy shopping!

  1. Aaaahh drooling over those Isabel Marant boots as well. The overall shape is CHIC! I feel like I’d trip with kitten heels though, but then again I can trip over my own feet in flats. I have not tried the boots in person (but I appreciate the comfort of their Beth sneakers) — have you? I know it’s relative, but any feedback on the comfort? I’ve found that as I’ve gotten older I have zero patience for breaking in shoes.

    1. Hi! I have a pair of Isabel boots that are similar in style (a tiny bit higher heel) and they are pretty comfortable. I would give them a 6/10. Not, like, my No 6 clog boots, which are kind of like walking in slippers (so warm and sturdy) — those would be a 10 — but also I would say more comfortable than my Loeffler Randalls, which I also love, but which tend to run a bit narrow and take longer to break in.

    2. Thank you, Jen! I must say, I appreciate how specific you are in saying “more comfortable than this, but less than that” — I know you’ve used this approach with something else I had asked you about a while ago. Such helpful points of reference!

  2. Hi Jen- I had left a comment on a prior post that I wanted to resurface. I’m curious what you think of the Sweaty Betty glisten tops vs the lululemon swiftly tops. If you have not formed an opinion on this, no worries! Thank you in advance!

    1. Hi! Oh my gosh, how did I miss your earlier comment?! I’m so sorry – I pride myself on responding to each comment! I have not yet worn mine, but will wear during my upcoming work outs and promise to report back!!

      Jen
