P.S. Musings on turning 34 and musings on turning 35. Will it surprise you that I have very little new insight to share on the shape of my life as I turn 36? This year has been a wild ride and when I haven’t been entirely consumed by my children, I’ve been humbled by the chaos of the lives of so many others.
P.P.S. Love these wet-dry bags (currently on sale, with free shipping) for the children and am very curious about this “mermaid serum” (on sale right now) that is getting a lot of press. I need another serum like I need a hole in my head but I’m still intrigued.

I vote for the Agua Bendita or Brock for you! You would look so lovely in any of the dresses you featured, but the Agua styles are so unique… whereas some of the other dresses are less so (e.g., broderie anglaise and smocked dresses abound on the Internet). I saw Julia/Gal Meets Glam (did you see she is discontinuing her dress collection?!) in the blue maxi Agua on her IG a while back and it looked so beautiful. I don’t know you IRL but the Brock Collection dress looks so “you” too!

And I also read she’s discontinuing her collection, which sounds like the right personal decision for her, though I can’t imagine the turmoil she must have endured to get there!

Contrarian approach, but I vote for anything Agua – mainly because I’ve been toying with splurging and would love to live vicariously through you! They’re such beautiful pieces; definitely a classic look that will last many years.

I love this discussion each year as my birthday falls a week before yours! I have a couple of different options this year — may end up wearing a strappy, floaty, gauzy Xirena dress as it looks like it’s going to be 90 degrees on my birthday! Eek!
For you, I would pick the Lug von Siga, the eyelet Aje (that BACK!), or the Brock Collection bustier dress. Love all three!
