Image above from Marysia, featuring their discounted Zuma bikini. I own several suits from this elegant label and they wear beautifully and run a tiny bit small! Read below for some Marysia marked down to like 80% off and some Marysia-inspired finds, too.

Tote your beach essentials in an LL Bean canvas bag or a coated Pam Munson, keep your sunscreen and other must-haves organized in these pouches, and throw out a cabana striped beach towel (or, swoon, unfold one of these S&L sling chairs — look for less with these).
Finally, in case your “swim club” is actually your backyard: Minnidip pools are still occasionally restocked at Target! The children loved this when we were away and frankly it was a very helpful “holding pen” for my extremely adventurous thirteen month old. (Mr. Magpie and I joked about whether we should inflate it in our living room…) Micro loved playing with this set in the pool, and, though it took some coaxing, mini ended up loving the sprinkler. Bunch O Balloons were also a huge hit — not only with the children, ha!
P.S. Though she passed away ten years ago, I still find it hard to write about my friend Elizabeth without crying.
P.P.S. Short hemlines = chic.
P.P.P.S. On turning 36…

Ooh, so many good finds here! I love the Faithfull yellow smocked number, and the ties on that LemLem are SO CUTE.
I’ve been curious about TKEES and appreciate your vote of confidence! I have been eyeing the ‘Sloan’ style that Shopbop has currently…
Yay!! Yes! The Tkees are a long-time fave and I swear I’ve had the same pair for like six years at this point. I find them surprisingly easy to care for — I usually wipe them down with a baby wipe and they still look good as new. (Not sure that’s recommended, but it’s worked for me.). xx
Thank you for the tip! And now, a question about sizing — Shopbop says to size up if you’re a half size, but as a 7.5/38, I almost always size *down* to a 7 or 37 for sandals. How have you found their sizing? xx
Hi! I would actually say they run true to size. I took my true size and they fit perfectly.
Thank you so much!
