I was just thumbing through my Pinterest account for some inspiration and found myself very much drawn to the crisp, high-contrast items I’d pinned. Items like this boxy white top (A.P.C., on sale for $97), paired with blue Minnies ($89) and a Holst + Lee stunner ($510), topped off (footed off?) with a pair of woven flats (Rebecca Minkoff, $225):

I know I’m having issues accepting the winter season, so please excuse my diversion into warmer weather fashion territory with the brandishing of this striped maxi ($275), oh-so-fetching with mirrored gold sandals ($138) and a pair of gold-rimmed cat-eyes (Elizabeth and James, $425):
Ughhh. Why am I not on a beach somewhere again? Anyway, a few other items that caught my interest — 1. an easy, striped, slouchy tee (T by Alexander Wang, $130); 2. a polka-dot belt (Gap, $29); 3. a colorblocked clutch (Gap, $29); 4. optical-white-and-black flats (Pierre Hardy, $250).
Finally, this textured, striped topper ($134) strikes me as something perfect to pair with leather skinnies and some contrast-print flats (Charles Philip, $155):
