{face time — june 6, a.m.}
I died over this rainbow-colored watch when Nina Garcia {former fashion director of Elle and Marie Claire} pinned it to her Pinterest board. I then died a little more when I realized it only costs $65 (get it here). In.the.bag.
{bilson. — june 4, p.m.}
OK, we all know I have a serious grush (girl crush) on Rachel Bilson, but could this outfit be any more fabulous?! I pretty much will sign my soul away to the devil for those Louboutins, available for a cool $1K here…
{breakfast at tiffany’s — may 30, a.m.}
LOVE these new “Jitney totes” from Tiffany ($495). The natural canvas with the Tiffany blue lining is just calling my name…
{notty — may 29, p.m.}
Loving these knotted bracelets from Kiel James Patrick ($38 each).
{especially espadrilles — may 9, p.m.}
Kinda thinking I need a pair of these funky printed espadrilles from Allagiulia ($145, Opening Ceremony). The perfect vacation/getaway shoe.
{lacy lady — may 8, a.m.}
Perhaps influenced by today’s “Delicate State” post, I’m absolutely dy.ing. over these lacy lovelies from Etsy storefront White Owl. OMG. How fetchingly feminine and vintage?! And the photography is just stunning. Lovesies.
{styling. — may 7, p.m.}
Check it out — me styling one of Kooba’s cutest bags ever — the Barkley ($598) in chalk.
{wrapped — april 27, a.m.}
OMG…how much do you love these La Mar Collections watches for spring ($88-$110)?! So many great colors and layered styles, but I’m especially smitten with this bad boy.
{affordable wonder — april 19, p.m.}
Excuse me, but is this H&M laser-cut peplum top not the jam.com? UM. Need. Like, may need to leave my desk and walk to the nearest H&M.
{salut, saludos — april 17, a.m.}
OK, this is one of those cases where I can’t tell if I’m just vacation-deprived and loony or these shoes are actually cute, so let me know your thoughts. I’ve sort of been considering the addition of a pair of Soludos espadrilles to my vacay wardrobe. I love the colors and patterns they come in, but then…will I look like Aladdin wearing them? I’m especially into the pink and orange, the ikat, and the gray-white stripe. Oh, and did I mention that they’re only $36-$42 a pop?! Can’t beat the price!
{webstah — april 16, p.m.}
Did you hear about Target’s new “The Shops of Target” series? Apparently, starting May 6th, you will be able to score merchandise co-created by Target and various specialty stores. I’m the MOST excited about The Webster Miami’s store-within-a-store. Check out the goodies they’ll be offering — and prices range from $7-$49! I must have — no, really, MUST have — those neon orange-tipped wedges, which will cost an affordable $30! Done deal.
{sepia tones — april 16, a.m.}
OMG, major fashion rush moment. Just discovered Brooklyn-based jewelry line Sepia Beauty and managed to snag this unbelievable necklace ($42), though their pieces seem to sell out like hot-cakes! Leif Shop has a couple of their pieces in stock as well! EEEE! Love the mixed media effect. And the colors! Right on point.
{self-affirmation — april 2, p.m.}
Have y’all seen the YouTube sensation below yet?! I absolutely adore this little peanut singing her own self-affirmations into the mirror. My favorite part, besides “I like my haircuts” is: “I can do anything good — yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah” as she stomps around on the counter. TOO AMAZING. Also, a good reminder that we all have a lot to be thankful for and proud of.
{they’re baaaaccck — march 30, p.m.}
If you’re like me, you continually tried to buy the Cambridge Satchel Company neon messenger at the wrong time. I swear that I checked Shopbop every day for two weeks to see whether they were back in stock. And, finally, they are. Snap one up now for $155 before they’re all gone!
{OMG, OLIVIA P. — march 28, a.m.}
You all know of my deep grush on Olivia Palermo. I could almost dedicate an entire board on Pinterest to her amazing style. So you will of course understand why I am was wowed by her spread in Marie Claire Spain. The clothes! UGH. So chic. I’m especially fond of that frothy look in the first snap — those shoes are TDF, and the skirt looks a lot like what Kate Moss rocked on the Louis Vuitton runway…
{monogramania — march 27, a.m.}
Love this personalized desk calender from Rosetta Papers ($44)! The perfect Mother’s Day gift, n’est-ce pas?
{blankie — march 21, p.m.}
The SUPER friendly folks at Butterscotch Blankees, who produced the block lettered blanket featured in my Prep School post from earlier this week {and other goodies, like the block monogram version seen below!} are offering Magpie readers 20% off their orders through the site from now through April 20th! WOOT! Just use coupon code “fashion” at checkout.
{shawl thing — march 20, p.m.}
I’ve long lusted after a Virginia Johnson scarf/shawl. She has the funkiest/coolest prints in the best colors. I’ve always balked at the $175 pricepoint, but the Devil on my shoulder may just have to negotiate with the Angel on my other shoulder in order to make a spring purchase happen. That pink and orange camel print one is just HOWLING my name.
{all about atwood — march 20, a.m.}
Can we please discuss the fabulosity of Brian Atwood’s spin off line, B Brian Atwood?! I’m loving the bright colors, unique styles, and semi-affordable price points. Yes, please.
{state pride — march 19, a.m.}
Mr. Magpie and I have a budding “Virginia art” collection to pay homage to our favorite state in the union. I’m thinking this lovely illustrated bird/state print by Etsy storefront Kelzuki will need to join the cluster in the not-so-distant future. Read: am buying now. Find your own state here!
{pink perfection — march 19, a.m.}
This Reed Krakoff tote is majorly perfect in every way imaginable. Die.
{la jeunesse — march 8, a.m.}
Sorry I’ve been M.I.A. I have a good excuse, and its name is VEGAS. I’ll be back up and running in a few days! I PROMISE! But for now, HAD to share a new obsession: French blouse line Jeunesse. How rad are these styles?!
{images from Shop Stel’s}
{design, dahling — march 1, p.m.}
The lovely bloggerina behind one of my favorite blogs, Design Darling, has launched a lovely e-boutique full of punchy, brightly-colored accessories and home design accents! EEEEE! Goody goody gumdrops. This will now quickly become my go-to stop for gifts, like these happy, two-toned clutcheroos ($68).
{magpie does paris — february 29, p.m.}
Check me out, putting together a look for a Parisian Lunch on the Palm Beach Lately blog! Woot woot!
{stamp it — february 28, p.m.}
May have to buy one of these customized return address stamps ($65) from Paper Pastries. Love the designs and scripts — so creative!
{holy holst + lee — february 28, p.m.}
Goody goody gumdrops: fab up-and-coming jewelry line Holst + Lee is now available through Shopbop! All I can say is…yes, please.
{a la maison — february 27, p.m.}
Seriously digging the clean, modern lines of uber-hit label Maison Martin Margiela. How sick are these booties? Yes, impractical — and yes, mah-jorly chic.
{GRUSH — february 23, p.m.}
If you follow me on Pinterest, you will know that I have a mah-jor grush {girl crush} on fashion plate Miroslava Duma. Lucky for me, The Coveteur just took us on a tour of her personal closet. Duh-rooling.
{O.M.G. — february 21, p.m.}
Holy majoley. Check out the interior of the home belonging to French winemaker Jean-Charles Boisset, discovered via {this is glamorous}. I’m pretty much tripping all over myself as I drool/freak out about the perfection below. Love the mauvey wall coloring in the first and last snaps — and all that GLASS and MIRROR!
{hold up. — february 17, p.m.}
Um, excuse me? I’m apparently very late to the game here, but — Manolo Blahnik for the big J. Crizzle Dizzle?! WHA?! See ya, $$.
{flora/fauna — february 17, p.m.}
I know we’re a far cry from warm weather, but I have been drooling over this Thread Social dress (on sale for $222, TheOutnet) for weeks and I just bit the bullet and snapped it up — the last one in my size! {Also comes in blue, and I also got an extra 20% off with coupon code 20SHARELOVE.} Eeee! Total shopping rush. I have so many weddings and engagement parties and bridal showers (and a big horse race!) to attend, I just know it will be the perfect get-up for many an event in the coming weeks. YAY.
{chic pea of the day — february 13, a.m.}
How much do love Ashley of Ring My Bell in these neon persimmon jeans ($57)?! The PERFECT way to usher in spring. These J. Brands have been in my proverbial shopping cart for weeks. I may just have to pull the trigger.
{images via Ring My Bell}
{cam cam — february 9, p.m.}
How rad is the latest collection from Camilla and Marc?! I know I’ve featured the line in months past, but I’m kinda smitten with the colors and shapes. Right on point.
{keel over — february 9, a.m.}
Does anyone keep a Keel’s Simple Diary? I somehow JUST found out about this, and need one, STAT {available for purchase for $15 here}. Essentially, each page is devoted to a different day, and will prompt you with various {semi-random} questions. I love this idea. What an awesome tool for self-reflection! Even cooler for you tech-savvy folks? They’re soon releasing a Keel’s Simple Diary app!
{scalamandre scallywag — february 8, p.m.}
I’m seriously smitten with wallpaper these days — just check out some of my latest {magpie nest} additions on Pinterest. Now on my radar? Scalamandre’s iconic zebra print wallpaper, found in chic powder rooms around the globe. Just enough whimsy and color to really make a statement. The green bathroom below belongs to Kate Spade — homygod, chic — and, yes, the bottom snaperoo is from The Royal Tenebaums. Cool points all around.
{in the bag — february 6, p.m.}
Just stumbled upon the Etsy storefront belonging to Lis Sartori. She is working towards an MFA in Illustration, and designed the print found on this darling little makeup kit ($21, Lis Sartori). How precious?!
{a noble thing — february 3, p.m.}
Now, I know I’ve featured Noble House designs in the past. I may have even featured this exact style ($150 each). But can we talk about how amazing this piece is, and how on-trend it feels?! It’s neon, tribal, and color-blocked — all in one genius piece. Want.badly.
{madabout gadabout — february 3, a.m.}
Smitten with Gadabout’s line of whimsical, fashion-oriented stationery ($48 for 25). I think I’d pick the cute bow-bedecked chic pea on the top personally. The Gadabout blog is pretty rad, too — full of eye candy.
{do good — february 3, a.m.}
One of my dearest college girlfriends established a non-profit to support and provide financial assistance to a Kenyan children’s shelter at which she worked. She’s eligible to win $50,000 in funding if she can get enough votes here. Would you lovely chic peas mind voting for this worthy cause?! And — check out the beyond adorable bebe dancing at around 1:18 in the video below. What a ham!

{gigi love — february 2, p.m.}
I’m heading to Vegas for my bestie’s bacheroo in exactly a month, and — though it won’t be warm enough to lay out at that time — I’m already clawing through my spring and summer wardrobes for festive, bright get-ups. And open-toed shoes! YES. As I was snooping around the interwebs today, I realized how much I’m obsessed with the Sam Edelman Gigi sandal ($65). I want them in each and every color/pattern combo shown below. And I need them all for Vegas. Cool?
{chic pea of the day — february 2, p.m.}
Sorry for the lack of a post today — busy, busy week, and some exciting (!) new giveaways are in store for you in the coming weeks! I couldn’t NOT post this snapshot of fashion plate Giovanna Battaglia (editor of L’Uomo Vogue). I love everything about this look, from the simplicity of the wheat-and-black color combo to {duh} those freaking Valentino Rock Studs heels ($895). I want them so.badly. Only I think I’d do the flat style ($795).
{poodles. — february 1, p.m.}
Woah. New month — new page o’ covets. Loving this. Today I bring to you a little knick knack that I must.own.: these poodle book-ends ($69). I’m in LOVE with them.
